Founder of CMG Entertainment and San Diego based Musician, Songwriter and Producer Kevin Cooper's career has taken him all over the world, including London, Paris, Switzerland, Japan among many other amazing destinations, including New York City where he performed with the Broadway Show "It Ain't Nothing But The Blues", which received 4 Tony Award Nominations including "Best Musical".
CMG Production Studios also recorded the African Drums on the first song of the cast CD called "Odunde" for MCA records
Kevin was also music director and played bass for 2007 Grammy Award Winning CD "Risen with the Blues" with Ike Turner and the Kings of Rhythym which won the award for "Best Traditional Blues Album"..
Other travels include a trip to New Dehli India where he studied Indian Classical Music with Pandit Ravi Shankar, and also recorded with his daughter Anoushka while he was there. That CD entitled "Rise" won a Grammy Award Nomination in 2006..
Television appearances include The David Letterman Show, Conan Obrian Show, The Today Show, and The Rosie Odonell Show to name a few..
Kevin is currently Entertainment Coordinator for the US grant Hotel in the heart of Downtown San Diego.. booking Jazz Bands, DJ's and other amazing talent for the Grant Grill Lounge and other special events..
